Huge Success for Mumbai Police Dreaded wanted Gangster and former Member of Chhota Rajan Gang Pradas alias Subhash Vitthal Pujari arrested by Mumbai Police’s Anti Extortion Cell he was deported from China on Friday late Night.
While Addressing the Press conference at Mumbai press room on Saturday Mr Lakhmi Gautam Joint Commissioner (Crime),” Confirmed this news Our Anti Extortion Cell Team and DCP Crime Mr Datta Nalawade worked hard on this Opration and finally we got this Criminal in China with the help of Foreign Ministry and other agencies we completed all process and deported him.
” Prasada Subhash Vithal Pujari was wanted since last 20years he was involved in several crimes such as Extortion,Murder , Kidnapping,attempt to Murder,Threatening and many more.
As per our records there are 8 Cases registered against him in Mumbai’s various police station.” Said Lakhmi Gautam
In 2004 he got bail and in 2005 he fled from India and took shelter in China in 2012 Mumbai Police issued Red Corner Notice against him.After Continuous follow up Mumbai Police got clue about his permanent location in China and police began his Extradition process.
As per Mumbai Police record police ave already booked him under Various Sectors 307, 384,120(B),3,25,5,27, (1),3(2),3(4) MCOCA etc.
While staying in China on temporary visa Prasad pujari was running his gang of Extortion from there with the help of locals goons in Mumbai he was targeted to Bollywood celebs,Builders and local politicians .In 2019 he was involved in activist Chandrakant firing case which took place at Vikroli.
Earlier he was working with Chhota Rajan and Kumar pillai but he separated from them and was fully operating his own Gang from China.
Key Highlights of the Opration:
A special Team was set up under the guidance of Special CP Deven Bharti and this team was headed by Jt CP Crime Lakhmi Gautam,Shashi Kumar Meena and DCP Crime Dtta Nalawade.Anti Extortion Cell Senior Police Inspector Sudheer Jadhav and Sunil pawaar were also part of this Opration.
